This website is hosted by an external service provider (GoDaddy). When you visit the site, the server automatically collects and stores information in log files (e.g. IP address, date and time, browser type). This is necessary for the secure and stable operation of the site. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Cookies and consent

This website uses cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, which you give via the cookie banner (Real Cookie Banner) and can withdraw at any time. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

5. Online shop and order processing

When you place an order, I process the data you provide (e.g. name, address, e-mail) to fulfil the contract and dispatch your order. For physical books, the delivery data is passed to the print and fulfilment provider. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Data required for tax and commercial law is retained for the statutory periods.

6. Payment providers

For payment processing I use PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg), Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland) and Klarna (Klarna Bank AB, Sweden). If you choose the relevant payment method, the payment data is transmitted to the respective provider to process the payment. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

7. Newsletter

If you subscribe to my newsletter, I process your e-mail address to send you the newsletter. Dispatch is handled via the provider Kit (Kit/ConvertKit). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each e-mail. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

To understand how this website is used, I use Jetpack and Metricool in a privacy-friendly way. Where these tools set non-essential cookies or process personal data beyond what is necessary, this only happens with your consent. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) or (f) GDPR.
